“Love the life you live. Live the life you love.”
By this time of year we’ve endured the hustle and stress the holidays can bring – easily burning us out.
With the new year comes a shift in us all, a much needed burst of energy and eagerness to improve ourselves. We usually set some type of “resolution” – whether it be a financial or career goal, a health or wellness goal, or a relationship goal. We set the bar high, usually reaching for the stars, only able to sustain this motivation until March (if we’re lucky). No one’s to blame. The new year invites us to start over.
I’ve never been a fan of resolutions, but I am a fan of self improvement, growth and love. This year, let’s welcome the new year by creating space in our lives. Space to say goodbye to the past years negativity. It’s a time to acknowledge what didn’t work for you and what held you back. When you identify what didn’t work, you’re able to release it and let it go – creating space for growth.
Bring awareness to what DID work – where did you thrive? Where can you continue to grow positively? What did you love about the past year? What have you learned about yourself? Begin to define what YOU need at this moment.
For 2023 I encourage you to set intentions instead of resolutions. What do you intend to achieve this year, maybe mindfulness, presence or self-worth? With every intention, no more than 5, include guides. Guides are actionable steps that set the pace and visual map of how to successfully achieve and maintain your New Year Intentions.
My wish for you in 2023 is for you to be filled with love, good health and awareness. For you to acknowledge and accept your beautiful self. For you to set healthy boundaries to eliminate negativity and to never underestimate yourself. Happy New Year!
